I'm not sure if this fits with the single choice jam because there are actually two choices in a single run, but it is a curious experiment anyway.

In English, there is a concept known as conditioned behaviors, where through insistence and repetition, certain things are reinforced until they become true. Take elevator music, for example. What makes it "elevator music" is the repetition of that specific type of sound, frequency, and rhythm in a confined space. Every time you're in an elevator, you're subjected to this music while you wait to reach your destination. If you encounter someone who has never been in an elevator, such as a small child, even if you perfectly mimic the sound and ask them to sing an elevator song, it still won’t mean anything. This is because the environment dictates what you think of that sound, not the sound itself.

When it comes to intimacy, conditioned behaviors also play a significant role. However, as experience shows, social and mental obligations are not always physical. For instance, a physical stimulus like a mild electric shock from a short-circuiting socket can elicit a physiological response that can be pleasurable, depending on the person's sensitivit . This doesn't mean the experience is pleasurable; no one seeks out the sensation of being shocked by a faulty socket. The shock isn't strong enough to be worthwhile as something specifically made to give pleasure and doesn't fulfill the need you have when plugging in an device/tool.

Partial experiences are just that – fragments of what you need at the moment, providing only a fraction of what is truly meaningful.

Hi! I'll clarify the single choice thing here. At first, the script only had the "No" single choice. However, the jam rules specify that a choice must have multiple options to choose from, therefore, that "No" didn't count as a choice, technically. The second, multi-option choice was added to make the experience actually compliant with the jam rules (as it wouldn't have a single "choice" before). I didn't convert the "No" into plain text because I feel like actually interacting with it is way more meaningful, and I didn't convert it into a multi-choice thing because it would take away from what I wanted to achieve with this.
